A fintech startup wanted to let market traders, taxi drivers and small shops accept payments from any mobile money network without juggling several phones and SIM cards.
The Challenge
Each mobile money provider exposes a different API with different reliability, settlement rules and failure modes. Payments had to be confirmed in seconds on low-end Android phones with patchy data, and merchants needed to trust that every franc was accounted for.
Our Solution
We built a Flutter app with a single merchant QR code and a payment orchestration backend that routes each transaction to the right provider, retries intelligently and reconciles settlements automatically. Merchants see every payment in real time, get a daily summary by SMS and can withdraw to their preferred wallet.
